Conference Book
Submittal Guidelines
What is the conference book?
The conference book provides attendees with an overview of each session and workshop, including key topics, learning objectives, and recommended resources. It also serves as a valuable reference after the conference, allowing participants to revisit content and providing those who were unable to attend a particular session with access to its key information and bibliography.
What to include?
-
A brief presenter biography, one paragraph (optional: a photo of yourself, as a living historian or otherwise?)
-
A written version of your presentation that outlines the themes, key ideas, and information covered during your session or workshop
-
A bibliography with citations in your preferred citation style (please use the style consistently throughout-Chicago style is the standard for historians)
Optional: include photographs, illustrations, or other images relevant to your presentation
