Instructors: Linda Sanders, Log Cabin Village

Location: Kitchen

Corn husks and cobs have been used for many, many things -- not just the wrappers for tamales or stuffing for mattresses.  Come see the collection of household items made from corn and corn husks in Linda's personal collection.  Participants will make a simple corn husk doll for make-it/take-it children's programs or reenactments and will leave with handouts on corn-craft history.  Dress with the expectation that you might get a little damp -- an apron might be beneficial.
